Current ethnic conflict


Ethnic conflicts are a war between ethnic groups often as a result of ethnic nationalism. There are different situation that cause conflicts between nations or ethnic groups, for example religion, fights for territories or geographical areas and politics, among others.

Religion is one of the most common ethnic conflict, the reason is not so clear but usually it has to do whit what someone believes is because people don’t see eye to eye, it is the same God, people is the one that changes how to see it and usually they don’t agree and that’s why the hate starts to act.

Like religion geographical areas are common to the wars that create conflicts between states or nations, one example that has always existed is the conflict between Israel and the Palestinians, many people has die because of this brotherhood is far for being truth, instead hatred is growing every day.

Politics have always made relations between countries harder, because usually one of the countries tries to take over controlled the other, politics is so related geographical issues, power over takes reality and leads to conflicts it blinds countries or governments that don’t really care about consequences but instead they just look for their comfort.

Ethnic conflicts have always been part of live or history, it is really hard to solve this cane problems, solutions are far from been conquer, it is mine believed that the only way to understand other people and believes is being respectful of what they believe to be true.

Globalization of infectious diseases


There are many infectious diseases around the world; infectious diseases are one of the principal causes of death around the world; usually the poorest countries are the ones that deal whit almost all of those diseases. Informing people about the causes and problems that these pathologies can bring is only one of the solutions for this growing issue that is killing people every day.

The health centers and governments all around the world know that infectious diseases cross all nations and boundaries, they also know that long term solutions require lots of time to plan effective ways of prevention and public health. Influenza, for example, is one of the most common infectious diseases but also we can mention HIV and Hepatitis B that are becoming more common every day, all of this could be prevented.

Prevention its achieve when governments act to avoid all of the pathologies coming in from different parts of the world, this usually happens when people from other countries come from their vacations or also happens when someone that, came from a different place, was not properly immunized and this can usually result in sickness. Preventing all of this requires effort from everyone, especially from the governments and health centers to come up whit different solutions.

Solutions are effective when people, instead of just talking start acting. The first solution is to educate people about prevention of infectious diseases, also through research, train more people on this discipline to find cures for the pathologies that affect our society.

It is impossible to eradicate all of those infectious diseases, but it is possible to educate ourselves to prevent it from getting sick and avoid getting everyone else sick. Health should be our main goal. I believe prevention and education are the keys to have a better life style.

Poverty

When we talk about poverty this means being unable to afford basic human
needs, like clean water, nutrition, health care, education, clothing and shelter.
Poverty affects not only a part of the orb but the whole world, there are some
Continents that are poorer then others like Africa then we have America more
specifically Central America, but the thru is that is not only affecting a part of society
it is everywhere.

Most of the people that are poor are not avail to afford the basic human needs,
clean water is hard to get for people that have no economic facilities or that live in
places really far; they usually boil their water to be able to drink it. It is also hard for
then to provide a good nutrition if they have no money to buy then. Usually when
nutrition and clean water are hard to provide the health is not really good and
education becomes harder; providing food, providing shelter is more important that
providing clothing not because they don’t want to but because they can’t

Poverty affects the whole world, but the most affect it part of world is the
African continent; this is where most of people die of hunger specially little kids
that have nothing to eat and to make it worse health is an issue too, there is no
proper health care, most of people are infected whit the HIV virus, this countries
have no support of any kind from its government; wars have destroy this continent
and sink it in poverty.

Central America is also affected by poverty as Africa, Central America has also
being let to a side by its governors, wars also were part of the dark history of central
America; nature has also play a role on the economy of the area because of the
many hurricanes’ that have destroy the countries living then in ruins, education is low
an is also a factor on poverty.

Poverty it’s been always part of the society, there are many factors, but there are
also many solutions. Governors should show more interest in making projects, plans
to solved it, what we can do is stared in our communities, help people to achieve
new goals. We need a better educational system to prepare people better, poverty
is hard to eradicate.

Weapons


What they usually cause is destruction, it’s an
instrument used to apply force, the purpose is to
cause harm or damage to people and animals.
Weapons are use in hunting, attack, self-defense, or
defense on combat.

Weapons have always been part of humanity, they
started as a tool for hunting, but they also turn into
lethal weapons. They have cause harm to animals
and people from the beginning, humans have not
learned to control the use of weapons.

Weapons development increase during World War
I, during this time the entry of fully industrialized
warfare as well as weapons of mass destruction
was marked. World War II was the boom
development of weapons increase, new technology
and designs were develop weapons were improved.

Nowadays weapons are different, from personal
weapons, to biological weapons and from biological
to chemical weapons, we have move from all of
this to the most powerful the nuclear weapon, the
only purpose of weapons is destruction weapons
have no other use.

Weapons have change our world, now everyone
owns a gun, the world is turning around its worse
than World War. There is no control over gun
possession it’s easy to go out and buy a gun in
every corner the world is turning into a free trade
market for guns.

Surrogates

The movie surrogates was some how interesting but also, it
was boring at the same time. The movie was base mostly on
robots and how could they controlled everything and also how
human beings were totally disconnected from the world. I think the movie
was made to give us an idea of how society is changing now days and it is
turning humans as robots whit no feelings.



Robots will do everything for us in the near future. I believed the writer
was trying to show what is happening already and yet more to come.
Robots soon will be walking our dogs, go to work, go shopping they will be
doing what we are suppose to be doing, humans now days are getting to a
stage or level where they feel like doing nothing and are becoming lazy.



The movie shows us that all that humans’ need it to do was to connect
them selves to a machine or a computer and that was it, that was their life
lying prone on some wear looking bed or table. They didn’t have real
contact whit other people, after a while they didn’t now how to react to
other people, sounds and situations. They had no feelings at all.



As a conclusion I believed that are society is turning into nonsense,
they are not carrying about feelings, they don’t care about anyone, they
just do as if it was all they had to do, their jobs are taking away their
freedom they are acting like robots are society is turning into that, feelings
they don’t even know anymore what the word feeling means.

Global warming

Global warming is the increase of the temperature of earth; this is not only
an issue of one country it involves all nations, global warming is destroying slowly
the ecosystems around the world. Governments are now worried because of the
impact of global warming their now rushing to find a solution to something that need
it to be solve many years ago, but it is when everything is out of order that they
decide to do something to control this growing problem. There are organizations that
try to control this issue but their success is verily seen. The factors of global
warming are many but the biggest one is the lack of interest of the countries to solve
this uncontrolled problem, the lack of action to stop global warming is killing our
world.

Global warming is the increase of temperature, according to a report by the
Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPPC) global surface temperature
increased 0.74± 0.18 ˚C between the start and the end of the 20th century. Scientist
agree that most of the observed temperature increase since the middle of the 20th
century was caused by increasing concentrations of greenhouse gases, which
results from human activity some of this activities such as fossil fuel burning,
deforestation, oil, coal and natural gas, all of this acting as number one
cause of the destruction of every human being.

The greenhouse effect is the result of many different activities done by
humans, an example of it is the fossil fuel burning, this produces around 21.3
billion tonnes of carbon dioxide per year. Carbon dioxide is one of the greenhouse
gases that enhances radiative forcing and contributes to global warming, causing
the average surface temperature of the earth to rise in response, which climate
scientist agree will cause major adverse effects. This effect
is difficult to controlled, some of the most powerful countries are trying to look for
solutions to a problem that is pretty advanced.

Some of the most powerful countries are trying to look for a solution, this is
their duty to because the biggest and most powerful countries are usually the ones
that cause most of the global warming or pollution that not only affects them but also affects the other countries usually the poor ones. Limited resources and capacity means the world's least developed countries are also the most vulnerable
to climate change impacts like extreme weather, land degradation and disease.
More extreme weather events are occurring worldwide, sometimes in unexpected
ways, this is cause thanks to the global warming that us as humans are making. The
climate change is the prove that the world is changing faster than ever.
The emission reduction programs will not be sufficient to avoid the problem, there
must be stronger and more efficient laws to controlled global warming.



As a conclusion global warming is been an issue for several years but is now
that people and governments are worry, they should of taken action before but they
waited and now are rushing to solve the most catastrophic even of all human life.
Laws are weak, there are not laws or programs that are strong enough
to stop global warming, we are to teach people that if we don’t take care of what we got soon will be gone, we need more unity we must pull in the same direction, as we strive to make a better world to live in we will understand the importance of keeping
our world safe.

Domestic Violence
The topic of domestic violence it’s been cover for many years, people and specially women were afraid to talk about it and also were afraid to denounce the abuse. There are many reasons why women wound denounce these aggressions; culture plays a big role in making this kind of decisions. Theirs laws but they are not efficiently use; they’re not efficient in a society where allegedly women is the weak link.

Domestic violence is not only a problem or an issue in Costa Rica it’s a problem around the world it’s more common in Latin America but it’s a problem that involves the whole orb. Domestic violence was always there but no one care about it because it was not their problem, but thru the years this way of thinking has change people care more about this issue now, it’s still hard in some culture to change their way of thinking because what was taught to them(men) that they were always the stronger ones.

The reason why usually women wound denounce is because they are afraid their partner would live then, some others because their partners are always threatening so they became afraid to do something about it, some others give excuses as «He loves me that’s why he does this to me because he cares about me» «He was just drunk» «It’s the first time he wound do it again». Latin culture it’s been known for its aggressiveness an because man is the one who rules or gives orders, a seed has been planted in our heads and this seed has been pass thru generations whit the wrong message and this were culture plays a big role.

The most assertive reason of why domestic violence occurs is the culture, but also there are some other factors that influence the violence such as, alcohol, drugs and problems with in the family. If we could avoid these factors everything would be easier but unfortunately this is not the case. What we must do is to educate people to make them aware of this issue and help them understand that there are other ways of living a better life if we oppose and denounce this awful action.

The laws made are not efficient, there must be a complete change in the laws that are made so we can better protect those who suffer from this kind of violence. There are institutions specialized to help women that suffer this type of domestic violence, we need to better informed people that this institution are there for a reason to eradicate violence. Laws must be harder for aggressors so they get what they deserve
Domestic violence is a big issue in society we must unity to eradicate the violence, we must start by teaching people to denounce aggressors, we need to improve our laws, government must help in this change because a better society starts when his leaders decide to protect the people and take action leaders must set the example of a better society whit out violence, we must informed people of the institutions that are available to succour them, we must change are way of thinking and change the bad things that are culture teaches.
