Impact of migration



Migration has always existed since, one of the first

Places were migration started was the United States, the

most common place was New York City this is where

most of the people from Europe arrive and from there on it

was a country that receive thousands of people. The

migration from people of different countries in Costa Rica

it’s been growing fast and is hard to control; migration

has brought different things to our country like for

example; cultural aspects and economic growth, but there

are good and bad things too.


Cultural aspects like the food they cook, the different

words they use, the manners they have all of this changes

our culture our identity, this has a big impact in our

society; our country is turning into a melting pot.


The economy has improve because of the investment

that people from other countries had done, real state
agencies from all over the world see Costa Rica has the

place to be. Most of the immigrants work in construction

and they are the ones that help the economy.


Immigration has a great impact in our society,

immigration has good and bad things, some of the good

things are that the immigrants help develop our economy,

bad things could be that some people our running away

from their countries to avoid some problems or they come

here to do bad things for example there are lots of drug

dealers that are from different countries.


Immigration is good but the government has to work

harder to prevent bad people from coming in to Costa Rica

and destroying our society, but also we most try to live

with harmony and peace and work together to have a

better country.
