University presentations

The university week consisted on taking different countries were english is spoken and presented to the classmates. The idea was to informed the people about the different countries and their culture, also it give us an opportunity to develop are spoken skills, and it was a challenge for some of us.

The opportunity that was given to us as students was challenging but it was fun also because it give us the opportunity to develop are social skills were we had to speak in from of different people and also in from of our classmates, for some of us was hard because we are not just to speak in from of a lot of people.

The different countries that were exposed, were countries where the main language spoken is english it was interesting to learned about the culture, sports, symbols, the food they eat, the main events they have and also the places you could visit if you were there, the idea was to introduce the countries to the public.

The presentations were a good opportunity to develop the spoken skills it was different for us because it push us to talk at we were able to be more fluid when we were talking, it also helps us see that there are many things that we need to improve on, it was a way of measuring are level of english.

The university week was fun and we were able to be more confident when we had to speak in from of people, I believe that activities like this one help us develop our speaking skills and this is one of the reason this activities should be done more often, this is the way to challenge the students and measure if they really learned.
